“We had such a wonderful long weekend at Monvi. The location of the property was perfect for us and the view of the vineyards was stunning especially as the sun was setting. We were lucky with our first evening there as there was a classical concert on the property with food trucks, their own wine, and art work. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant to eat at night. You can however there are options to have for lunch. The front of desk staff are very friendly and helpful. We found that the air-con made too much noise for us and they switched it off for us immediately. The three ladies in the breakfast room were so sweet and very patient with me trying to speak Italian :) The breakfast was just enough with freshly cooked eggs/omelette. The pool area and spa was very relaxing. The size of the bedroom was very big. The only feedback for improvement is to have the same size bath towels in the bathroom that they give for the pool. We found that the bath towels were a little small. We hope we can come back soon....we loved it.”

“I spent my birthday weekend at Monvì Wine Relais for two nights, staying in the Il Castello Double Room, and it was honestly one of the best stays I’ve had in Monferrato. The room was on the second floor, completely surrounded by vineyards. No matter where you looked, every window opened onto beautiful vineyard views, it truly felt like sleeping above a winery. I originally booked this place because the photos looked amazing, but the reality was even more beautiful. The atmosphere was peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for a birthday getaway. Even before arriving, the staff were incredibly kind and responsive. After booking, I contacted them to reserve spa times and the wine degustazione, and every reply was quick, warm, and helpful. The spa was spotless and beautifully maintained. One of the most memorable parts of the stay was the wine tasting with Nancy. Since it was just the two of us, the experience felt incredibly intimate and personal. Nancy didn’t simply explain the wines, she shared stories, passion, and the character behind each bottle in such a genuine way. Sitting there with local salami and cheese, surrounded by vineyards, it felt less like a tasting and more like being welcomed into the culture and rhythm of Monferrato itself. On our second day, the weather was perfect, so we spent the afternoon reading books by the pool, surrounded by vineyards. It was one of those simple moments that felt unforgettable. A truly special birthday weekend, and somewhere I would absolutely return to.”

“Beautiful property with wonderful view and they make amazing wine. We stayed there for 2 nights and we loved everything about this place. Breakfast was nice, enough choices, especially local delicacies, and you can get freshly cooked eggs. We also love the spa and sauna. Small but very quiet and relaxing. The staff are the best, super friendly and helpful they made us feel welcome and comfortable. Hope to stay there again anytime soon.”

“Beautiful place which exceeded expectations- photos didn’t do it justice. The garden feels very new and in the next few years will mature beautifully. The rooms are perfect- stunning views from the huge glass windows, spacious and spotless. There SPA is wonderful and a very welcome way to end a day after driving around the gorgeous surrounding hills and villages. The staff were all very friendly and always on hand and happy to help. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting which came with so much snacking food it was practically a full meal. Would highly recommend!”

“A very good hotel, super calm and quiet in the off-season. Excellent views of the vineyards, amazing rooms, and very caring staff. We were the only guests in the hotel in February and were surrounded by care and an incredibly relaxing atmosphere. We had a truly restful stay.”

“I stayed here for my birthday and I can highly recommend it. Amazing service and hospitality. Special thanks to Mr. Sam and also Ms. Alice. peaceful surroundings and great pool. You can easily walk though the vineyards and enjoy an amazing wine tasting. Rooms were also immaculate. All in all if you are looking for a peaceful place with beautiful views and great service this is the place to book.”

“What a surprise to arrive at this little piece of heaven! We had no idea what we were booking but were overwhelmed by the beauty of Monvì! The corner room was incredible with views all around. The hosts were so helpful and friendly and the breakfast each morning was delightful. It was more like staying at a Bed and Breakfast than hotel. It is not set up for taxi drivers and not close to a lot of restaurants so plan ahead. However, there were two small restaurants in walking distance that the host helped us make reservations for and both were lovely! For our day of adventure we set up a private driver to take us to wineries all around version Alba (incredibly beautiful) but we really looked forward to getting back to Monvì because it immediately felt like home.. with better sunsets! :) I hope we can come back again one day!!”

“Beautiful winery with a great view of the surrounding vineyards. Our host, Sam, was very knowledgable about all the processes that take place in the winery as well as the wines themselfs. He really has a great way of explaining the flavours to look for and the tastes that develop when tasting the wine, even for beginners. The wine itself was very good and priced fairly. The tasting comes with accompanying snacks that pair well with the different wines. We even got the chance to try some special combinations he personally recommended.
